Clinical Supervision

Are you an aspiring Licensed Professional Counselor who has a work site but needs a Clinical Supervisor?

LaVerne Stevens provides Master's-Level or Post-Master's supervision and direction to aspiring LPCs in Georgia. She provides exceptional training, email support between supervision sessions, and teaches you the marketing and business aspects of a counseling practice. LaVerne Stevens is a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) in the state of Georgia and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) as designated by the National Board for Certified Counselors.  Besides being in private practice, she is a national GAIN clinical interpretation trainer, a Master Addictions Counselor, an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, a Master Trainer for the Mental Health Facilitator Program of the National Board for Certified Counselors International (NBCC-I), a Board Certified Coach, a Distance Credentialed Counselor, and a professional mental health writer, published in books and professional trade journals.

She is passionate about integrative care. Building upon her foundation as a Christian counselor, she is keenly aware of the need to care for the whole person in mind, body, spirit and relationships. She primarily uses traditional Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for individuals and Gottman methods for couples, along with complementary methods such as animal-assisted therapy, nutrition counseling and relaxation therapy in her treatment planning.  Referrals are made for functional medicine and psychotropic medication management when needed, so that every client has the opportunity for the best combination of bio-psycho-social-spiritual interventions.

Clinical supervision of this caliber is not for everyone, but only for those who seek the best in LPC Supervision, want to learn the art and science of a private practice, and are willing to make the investment in their future.
LaVerne Stevens holds to the highest ethical standards and goes above and beyond for her counseling supervisees. Her counseling and methods of exceptional care for clients make her a select choice for your clinical supervision needs. Face-to-face or distance supervision can be arranged.
